One of the benchmarks demonstrating a nursing student’s readiness to become a licensed vocational/practical nurse is the NCLEX exam, and one of the key indicators of the quality of a school’s nursing program are their NCLEX pass rates.
The Texas Board of Nursing released the 2015 NCLEX-PN pass rates on April 21, 2016, and Career Point College had 205 of 218 students pass their NCLEX-PN exam on their first attempt, equaling a 94.04% overall pass rate!
Additionally, the vocational nursing program at Career Point College has achieved:
Highest NCLEX-PN pass rate in San Antonio for the last four years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
Highest NCLEX-PN pass rate of any college in Texas with 150 or more first time test takers for the last three years (2013, 2014, 2015)
Highest seven-year average NCLEX-PN pass rate for any college in San Antonio (2009-2015)
Exceeded the state average (Texas) NCLEX-PN pass rate for the last four years (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015)
From instructors with years of nursing experience to clinical labs with simulation mannequins, Career Point College understands what it takes to become a quality nurse, and what it means to receive quality nursing education.
