Taking the big step to go back to school and pursue a medical career is not always easy. It takes long hours of studying, dedication and commitment to a new career. Aside from constant studying, working a full-time or even part time job on top of school is a great challenge in itself. With so much time consumed with working, studying, and more studying, it’s nice to hear a reassurance that you’re doing well.
Students Ashley Djahedian and Theresia Ostrom, students at Career Point College Tulsa Campus are two examples of how committed our nursing students are.
A gentleman, former EMT, called the clinical facilitator of the facility our students were in, to commend our students on how well they took care of his father. Ashley and Theresia had spend their clinical days caring for this man’s father. They applied the skills and knowledge learned from the classroom, as the compassion and care that comes with being a nurse.
Our nursing students go to various clinical sites throughout their educational journey and touch the lives of many. Many may not say thank you, or be as appreciative as other may be, but the work of a nurse is truly appreciated.
Career Point College is proud of these students and all our students for working hard each and every day and going out and representing Career Point College in a great way.
